A double mattress measures 138 x 188 cm. It's a good fit for a single sleeper who wants room to spread out, a guest room, or a couple in a smaller bedroom. Our range covers soft to firm in pocket spring, memory foam, latex and euro top.

Mattress types

Which firmness?

Side sleepers usually prefer soft to medium, so shoulders and hips can sink in a little. Back sleepers tend to suit medium to medium-firm, and front sleepers often find firm keeps the spine level. Use the Firmness filter to narrow the range.

Double or queen?

A queen mattress is 153 x 203 cm: 15 cm wider and 15 cm longer than a double. If two adults share the bed, or either of you is over about 180 cm tall, a queen is usually the more comfortable choice.

Pocket spring mattresses use individually wrapped coils that support each part of your body separately. They feel bouncier and let air flow through, so they tend to sleep cooler.

Memory foam mattresses mould to your shape and absorb movement, so you feel less of a partner turning over. Cool-gel foam helps reduce heat. Hybrid mattresses combine pocket springs with foam layers.

Orders ship from our Australian warehouse the next working day after payment clears. Outside peak season, delivery usually takes about 3–8 working days in Victoria, 5–10 working days in NSW, SA, ACT and QLD, and 7–14 working days in WA, NT and TAS. Yes. We accept change-of-mind requests within 14 days of delivery for items in their original packaging. Email us photos of the item first, and don't send it back until we approve the return. The refund is the order total minus the original postage, return postage and a 20% restocking fee. See our Refund Policy.
