Computer Desks

Allow about 60 cm of depth and enough width for your screen and keyboard. A desk of 100 to 120 cm suits a single monitor, and 140 cm or more suits two monitors. L-shaped and corner desks add a second work surface, and folding desks suit small spaces. Check the legroom and any drawer or shelf clearance on the listing.

Adjust your chair so your feet are flat and your knees are at about 90 degrees, then set the desk so your elbows rest at about 90 degrees while typing. Put the top of the screen at or slightly below eye level, about an arm's length away. A height-adjustable desk lets you switch between sitting and standing.
