Types of kitchen bin
- Motion sensor bins: touchless bins from 7 L to 82 L, including slim D-shape and dual compartment designs.
- Pedal bins: stainless and carbon steel pedal and split-door bins from 3 L to 63 L, many with soft-close lids and removable inner buckets.

Choosing a kitchen bin
As a rough guide, 3 to 15 L suits a small bench, 30 to 50 L suits most family kitchens, and 60 L or more suits large households. For a pull-out bin, check the cabinet width and the door clearance first.
